Tips for improving your English speaking skills and pronunciation from one of my favorite clients, Blaž Kos

There's nothing like the insight that can be gathered from someone who's actually going through the process of improving their English conversational skills. Here's a very thorough article taking an in-depth look at the initial struggle, the benefits of the results, and a plethora of tips on how to get there. A great read, indeed!

TOP 3 ENGLISH Conversation Mistakes SLOVENIANS Make and How to FIX Them

With the recent Slovenian FIBA EuroBasket 2017  win over longtime rival Serbia, I got inspired to do a little video about my second home with: "The TOP 3 ENGLISH Conversation MISTAKES SLOVENIANS Make and How to FIX Them".

10 ways to have a better conversation

One of the videos I go over the most with my clients is Celeste Headlee's TED talk "10 ways to have a better conversation". The reason behind it is that instead of getting too theoretical about what to do, and what not do, in order to have a great conversation, she gets down and dirty from the start and gives very clear and actionable advice; all super useful and super entertaining -- just the way I like it in own my sessions.

Now, there's so much beautifully helpful material here, that it would take many blog posts to unpack (and I might just do that!), but for now, watch out specifically for Rule 9: "Listen". As she herself mentions, it's by far the most important, and the one most of us have the hardest time dealing with. Absolutely one of my favorites, I love this woman!
